If you drink a lot of coffee, you’ve probably noticed that, sometimes, a regular ol’ cuppa joe isn’t enough. If you’re in the market for a quick boost, “Shock-a-Lots” are a favorite product: The chocolate-coated coffee beans pack as much punch as a regular cup of coffee. While the company mocks decaf – the official website’s FAQ page replies to a query regarding the availability of decaffeinated coffee with, “What part of ‘hyper-caffeinated’ don’t you understand?” – it does offer an organic roast that’s a little easier to take. And of course, there’s always their “classic” Energy Blend, a blend of some of the strongest coffee anywhere.
The company’s slogan is, “Sleep is over-rated.” While that’s neither here nor there, even according to the company’s founder and president, Jeff Rosen, one thing is definitely true of Shock Coffee: It’ll keep you going.
